A cultural exchange program is inviting students and youth to experience Korean language and culture. A fully funded experimental learning opportunity in the most scenic capital of South Korea.

AYFN Winter Korean Culture Camp 2025 Details:

The ASEAN Youth Friendship Network (AYFN) academy, in collaboration with local organizations under the International Youth—Skills Foundation, aims to enhance foreign visitors’ comprehension of the Republic of South Korea. The program welcomes nationals from all countries, ranging from 17 to 40 years old, who are involved in youth and social activities and are interested in travel and culture.

Eligibility Criteria:

To meet the eligibility criteria, you must be able to check all the following boxes:

  • You must be between the age bracket of 17 and 40 years old.
  • Open for all nationals
  • You love to travel and interact with people from other cultures.
  • You demonstrate leadership skills.
  • You are involved in social and youth engagement activities.
  • Able to communicate in English

Scheme of Participation:

You can participate in this program by two ways; scholarship and Self-funded

Scholarships:

Scholarships are available in 3 schemes. The Gold, Silver, and Blue schemes offer travel grants and program fee waivers.

Travel grant:

With these schemes, AYFN can provide travel grants of up to $1,250.

  • Gold: AYFN will waive the program fee and provide travel grants up to USD 1,250.
  • Silver: AYFN will waive the program fee and provide travel grants up to USD 500.
  • Blue: AYFN will waive the program fee and provide travel grants up to USD 250.

Program Fee:

Program fee includes:

  • Accommodation 6D5N (Double shared),
  • Meals (4 Breakfast and 4 Lunch)
  • All activities indicated on the schedule
  • All tours indicated on the schedule,
  • Local transport (Train and Bus)
  • E-Certificate of participation from AYFN,
  • Program supervision
  • In-country administration costs and souvenirs from AYFN

Self-funded

Interested candidates can also opt for the self-funded option.

  • Curriculum Vitae (Resume)—European standard.
  • 250-word motivation letter on “Why do I need this scholarship?”
  • 250-word essay on “Why do I deserve this scholarship?”
  • Proof of payment for the application fee.

*All documents must be in English.
