What Does KAUST Scholarship Offer?

The postgraduate scholarship program benefits students from fully-funded awards for Master’s, PhD, and postgraduate diplomas in all disciplines with a full tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend, relocation support (visa, relocation, and travel costs), on-campus housing, and health insurance.

The scholarship is calculated to be worth between $70k and $80k per year. Additionally, the students are to meet the smooth and easy eligibility criteria and application process, and they are good to go!

Eligibility Criteria:

  • English Proficiency test scores: You will need English proficiency test scores (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 79) if the applicant hasn’t received a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Academic transcripts: Submit an official, complete university transcript, mark sheets, graduation certificate, or academic record from every institution previously attended.
  • Postgraduate Degree Program: In the case of the following postgraduate degree programs, you should submit the following degrees in a relevant or related area, such as engineering, mathematics, or the physical, chemical, and biological sciences.
  • Master of science: undergraduate science degree
  • PhD degree program: requires an undergraduate or master’s degree.
  • Postgraduate Diploma: A Bachelor’s Degree

Scholarships/funding:

  • Full coverage of tuition and bench fees (worth USD $35,000 per year)
  • A monthly stipend (worth USD $20,000 per year for PG Diploma and M.S. students and USD $25,000 to $30,000 for Ph.D. students depending on qualifications and academic progress)
  • On-campus housing (worth USD $7,000 per year and covering utilities such as electricity and WIFI)
  • Health insurance (worth USD $1,450 per year)
  • Relocation support (visa, relocation, and travel costs)

In total, depending on where you travel from and what level you are studying at, the fellowship is calculated to be worth between $70k and $80k per year.
