Youth Action SDG 6 Fellowship 2025 (UK & Europe) Fully Funded

The International Water Association (IWA) in collaboration with Grundfos is inviting applications for the Youth Action SDG 6 Fellowship 2025 that will be held in the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Scotland. The program is recognized as one of the most impactful platforms for youth engagement in the water sector. The Fellowship is designed to address the evolving needs and the importance of the water sector in the rapidly changing world.

Youth ages (18- 35) years are invited to submit the applications. IWA & Grudos will award 14 fellowships, the selected fellows will engage in a series of in-person and exclusive events throughout the program. The duration of the fellowship is 6 months will commence in February 2025 and till September 2026. The host organization will cover all the expenses related to the fellowship including Air travel, meals, Accommodation, and much more. Learn more about the fellowship below.

Eligiblity Criteria:

You have to meet the following criteria to be eligible

  • Age Requirement: Applicants aged between 18-35 years are eligible
  • Candidates able to demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Evidence of showing commitment to bringing positive change in the water sector
  • Be an IWA member to participate in the fellowship
  • Have innovative ideas in the water sector
  • Have good English communication skills

Fellowship Coverage:

The fellowship supports:

  • Round Air travel cost
  • Meals including (Breakfast, lunch, Dinner)
  • Local Transporation
  • Travel Insurance
  • Visa application fees

Fellowship Activities

  • Fellows will attend a gathering in IWA headquarters, UK
  • Participate in a gathering hosted at Grundfos Hq, Denmark.
  • Fellows will participate in the World Water Congress and Exhibition that will be held in Glasgow, Scotland

Application Process

The application portal will start accepting applications from October 14th till November 14 2024 so you have a complete one month for the submission of the application.

Interested applicants fulfilling the required criteria need to fill out an online form and send the required documents to ywp@iwahq.org.
