KAIST (KSCC) Summer Research Internship 2025 in South Korea (Fully Funded)

KAIST has announced its “KAIST Stem Cell Center (KSCC) Summer Research Internship” for international students currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the undergraduate degree programs who have an interest in regenerative biology, stem cells, and tissue. KAIST is seeking applications from talented overseas students to participate in their 7 weeks intensive research program and have an opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research and experience life at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology.

The duration of the KAIST Stem Cell Center (KSCC) 2025 Summer Research internship program is 7 weeks and will run from June 30th to August 14th, 2025, at the KAIST main campus (Daejeon, South Korea). The KAIST internship offers full support to overseas students by covering Round Trip Airtrip, Accommodation, and stipend.

The objective of the internship is to provide students with hands-on research experience in state-of-the-art labs while closely collaborating with world-class faculty. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the KAIST research internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • KAIST is accepting applications from all overseas students
  • Students enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the Undergraduate degree programs
  • Pursuing their education from an overseas institute
  • Masters & PhD students are not eligible to apply
  • Have an interest in stem cell, tissue, and regenerative biology to conduct research
  • Possess a good academic record

Internship Coverage

The internship covers:

  • Round Trip Airfare (max amount covered 1.5 million KRW)
  • Interns will receive a stipend of 0.5 million KRW for the duration of the program
  • Accommodation will be provided in the KAIST dormitories
