The European Parliament is offering an exciting “What Matters to You(th)” competition for the residents of European Union countries aged 19-30 years, to participate and have an opportunity to join thousands of young Europeans at the heart of Democracy.
The competition window is currently open, and the last date to enter the competition is 30th April 2025. The is not just a competition, it’s a gateway for an amazing EYE2025 event that is taking place from June 13-14, 2025, in Strasbourg, France. You heard it right! The European Parliament will invite 6 lucky winners of the competition to EYE2025 in France and will bear all their expenses, which include Accommodation and travel.

The European Parliament will cover the following expenses of the six winners:
- Three nights accommodation
- Travel costs for the event
Who can Apply?
- Applicants fulfilling the following conditions can apply for the competition:
- Applications are invited from one of the 27 European Union member countries
- Applicants aged 18-30 Years old at the time of the competition can take part
- Willing to participate in the event during the program dates at Strasbourg, France
How to Take Part in the Competition?
Applicants who want to participate in the competition need to follow the following steps:
- Step 1: Applicants need to create a reel on Instagram with an official audio
- Step 2: In the reel, you need to show what matters to you, whether it can be a moment from your daily life or the cause you are passionate about.

- Applicants must be from European Union countries
- The uploaded content must be related to the topic
- Ensure that you have all the copyrights to the content you uploaded
- Participants are requested not to include individuals in the video without their consent
