Asia-Europe Training and Youth Summit 2025 in Copenhagen (Fully Funded)

Application call for the Asia-Europe Training and Youth Summit 2025. A fully funded program hosted by Asia Europe Foundation offers an incredible opportunity to early career professionals from Asia and Europe working in the areas of Science, innovation, and technology to learn about science & technology diplomacy and its importance in Asia-Europe relations. The duration of the program is 2 months, which will take place from October to December 2025. The youth summit consists of two phases: 1) Online Training takes place between October 23 – December 4, 2025. (2) In-person Youth Summit that will take place between 15-18 December 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The selected delegates will receive comprehensive support, which includes Accommodation, meals, visa coverage, and air travel support to attend the Youth summit in Denmark. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark, offers comprehensive support for the Youth Summit in Denmark, which includes:

Program Structure

The Asia-Europe Training & Youth Summit on Science & Technology is delivered in two phases. Let’s discuss them in detail

Phase 1: Online Training 

The online training consists of 7 weeks of online training, consists of interactive workshops and webinars that focus on the following topics:

  • Science Impacting Diplomacy
  • Diplomacy Impacting Science
  • Innovation and Technology in Diplomacy
  • Understanding personal, Cultural, and professional lenses

Phase 2: In Person Youth Summit in Denmark

The selected applicants from the online training will have an opportunity to attend the Youth Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark, that will take place between December 15-18, 2025. At the conference, young delegates will have an opportunity to engage in high-level discussions and shape the future of collaboration in vital areas.

Eligibility Criteria

The summit is inviting applications from applicants, fulfill the following criteria:

  • Applicants from Asian & European countries are eligible to apply
  • Applicants aged up to 35 years old can apply
  • Excellent command in the English language. (Verbal & Written)
  • Applicants currently working in the areas of science, technology, innovation, and international relations in Government or Civil Society

Selection is Based on:

  • Individuals’ motivation for participation in the program
  • Contribution to the program
  • Have experience in the related topics
