- The scholarship is awarded to both Qatari and foreign nationals
- Applicants must secure admission in one of the offered graduate degree programs to be considered for the scholarship
- Scholarships are highly competitive and awarded on a merit basis. Applicants with excellent academic achievements are encouraged to apply
- Some degree programs may require relevant work experience
- Proof of English proficiency for applications whose previous language was not English
