The fellowship is inviting applications from nationals of Pakistan holding a PhD degree from recognized institutions with a relevant 5 years of work experience to apply and have an opportunity to experience cutting-edge research in an international work environment, under the mentorship of renowned experts in their fields. The fellowship offers comprehensive financial support for the duration of the fellowship, which includes a living allowance, health insurance, Research/Lab costs, and air travel coverage. The duration of the fellowship is 9 months, with a possible extension of 3 months. Objective
The objective of the HEC postdoctoral fellowship is to provide an opportunity to Pakistani scholars to enhance their research skills, promote research cooperation between Pakistani researchers and international institutes, and strengthen the quality of research and teaching in Pakistan.
Coverage
The fellowship offers the following financial support for the duration of the program:
- A living expense of USD 1,600 per month
- Health Insurance of USD 2000 one-time
- Air travel allowance of PKR 250,000, one-time
- Research-related costs: USD 6,000 Once

Eligiblity Criteria
- The fellowship is accepting applications from nationals of Pakistan
- Applicants holding a PhD degree from a recognized institute
- Possess five years of relevant work experience after graduation
- Applicants must not be more than 45 years of Age
- Secure a placement letter from one of the top 200 QS world ranking research institutes, a supervisor, along with their CV
