The Rockefeller University, through its official portal, has recently announced the “Chemers Neustein Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme” and is seeking applications from talented students worldwide.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to submit their applications for the Chemers Neustein Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) 2026:

  • The fellowship is open to both US and international students
  • Accepting applications from the Undergraudate students
  • Applicants must be a college junior or a sophomore
  • Students must be majoring in the physical or life sciences
  • Holds excellent academic achievements
  • Must provide 2 letters of recommendation

Fellowship Coverage

The Fellowship offers generous support, such as:

  • Fellows will receive a stipend of $6,500.00 for the program duration
  • The stipend is enough to cover airfare, visa costs, & Meals
  • Fellows will be provided with free housing
  • Access to the institute’s state-of-the-art facilities, such as the Gym, labs, Library, etc
  • Participation in Cultural and social events
  • Participation in cultural and networking events

The fellows will be matched to research laboratories based on their areas of interest and will work directly under the supervision of faculty, senior graduate, and postdoctoral students.
