World Bank Youth Summit 2026 in Washington D.C (Fully Funded)

To all the young leaders out there, do you want to be part of the biggest youth summit offered by one of the renowned financial institutions? Well, you have landed at the right place. The World Bank Group has announced the applications for the 13th edition of its flagship “World Bank Youth Summit 2026” under the theme of Future Works: Designing Jobs for the Digital Age. The summit aims to gather young changemakers, innovators, and leaders from around the world in Washington DC, USA, from June 11-12, 2026, to share innovative ideas to tackle the pressing development challenges in their communities and beyond.

The program features both in-person and virtual participation, making it more accessible for leaders from across the world. The 13th edition of the summit centers around three pillars that are education and skills, entrepreneurship, and agriculture. The World Bank Group is calling applications from young leaders aged between 18 and 35 Years with an interest in technology, development policy, economic growth and youth employment. During the event, delegates will engage with global leaders, participate in high-level dialogues, and make contributions to achieving SDGs. Read more details about the event below.

Event Tracks

The World Bank Youth Summit is offering two program tracks:

  1. Delegate Track
  2. Pitch Competition Track

Eligiblity Criteria

  • Candidates interested in the Youth Summit must meet the following criteria:
  • Individuals must be from World Bank group member countries
  • Age requirement: 18-35 years old at time of application
  • Applicants from any academic or professional background can apply
  • There is no specific GPA criterion to apply for the program
  • The summit encourages diversity and welcomes applications from all fields
  • Profiency in the English language as the summit will be held in English
Pitch Competition requirements

To apply for the pitch competition must meet the following criteria:

  • Share a project idea that addresses the development-related issues in Agriculture, education, and entrepreneurship
  • Your project idea must have a meaningful impact
  • Candidates can apply as a team or individually
