Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) has announced multiple positions for a young scientists training program. The APCTP is calling applications from young scientists from Asia-pacific regions in all fields of theoretical physics or related disciplines. The fellowship provides incredible opportunities to interact with in-house researchers and collaborate with POSTECH faculty. The APCTP center was founded in 1996 under the leadership of Prof. C. N. Eligiblity Criteria

Applicants fulfilling the following criteria are invitied to submit their applications

  • Accepting applications from researchers from Asia-pacific regions
  • Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree (DSC, PhD, or equivalent) 3 months before the training program start date
  • Applicants in all fields of theoretical physics or related disciplines can apply
  • Preference is given to the early-career researchers with strong research interests and proven publication records
  • Applicants’ age must be under 40 years old
  • Must have completed a degree from a recognized institute

Benefits

The training program offers a wide range of benefits, such as:

  • Trainees will receive an annual gross salary of KRW 36,000,000
  • Research Allowance of KRW 5,000,000 per year
  • Housing support
  • One-way airfare coverage
  • 2+1 year contract
