The Association of Comparative Economics Studies (ACES) is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 5th edition of its flagship “ACES Political Economy School,” scheduled to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from August 12 to 14, 2026. ACES invites applications from talented students interested in political economy, economic history, or development economics.
The programme is open to all nationals. It’s a 3-day intensive summer programme that offers students the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in economic history, development economics, and political economy under the supervision of renowned mentors in these fields. During the programme, the participants will also receive feedback on their research ideas from faculty and students. This is your chance to enhance your skills, deepen your knowledge, and expand your global networks with professional and young scholars in the field of economics.
No application fee is required to apply for the summer school. The host organization offers comprehensive support to attend the programme, including accommodation, meals, and offset travel costs for students from low-income countries.
