World Bank Group Explorers Programme 2027 – Fully Funded

The World Bank is accepting applications for the “World Bank Group Explorers Programme 2027”. A 2-year, intensive early-career program designed by the World Bank Group, it offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals from donor/developed countries to work in World Bank Group country offices, excluding HQ and HQ-similar work locations, to support WBG work and contribute to its mission. The assignment lasts 2 years, during which selected participants will gain hands-on experience in global development while working on the WBG’s groundbreaking projects aligned with their fields, under the supervision of renowned managers and experts.

It’s a fully funded early-career program by the World Bank Group; selected candidates will receive a market-competitive stipend and other benefits through a donor-funded trust. This is an ideal opportunity to work across diverse teams, gain exposure to WBG operations, and work on real-world development challenges that create real impact. The application window for the UAE cycle is open, and the last date for application submission is July 15th, 2026.

About WBG Explore Programme

The Early Talent Program is a flagship initiative of the World Bank Group that enables early-career professionals from donor and developed countries to work at World Bank offices for 2 years, gaining hands-on experience on real-world development projects that address challenges in growth, agriculture, transformation, infrastructure, climate, public policy, and finance. The Early Career Global Program is intended for talented applicants with a minimum bachelor’s degree and a strong interest in international development.
