Application call for the DGIST Summer Research Internship 2025 – A funded summer research internship in South Korea offered to international students to expand their research experience at DGIST.
DGIST also known as “Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology” is inviting applications from Undergraduate students belonging to any part of the world to participate in the DGIST Summer Research Internship, The internships are available in a wide range of research areas including Physics, Chemistry, Robotics, Engineering and much more. The duration of the GIST internship is 6 weeks and will take place at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology from June 30th – August 8th, 2025. No Application fee will be charged while applying for the program.
During the internship selected participants will be serving as visiting research students at the labs of their choice under the supervision of GIST faculty members. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2025 Summer DGIST Research Internship for international students you must fulfill the following requirements:
- DGIST is accepting applications from all nationals
- Students in an undergraduate degree program
- Students must have completed at least 4 semesters of the degree program
- Minimum CGPA requirement 3.00/4.00
- English language proficiency
- D-2 visa holders pursuing their degree in South Korea can also apply

- A stipend of KRW 900,000 to cover living expenses

The program does not cover:
