ICYF International Training Camp 2026 in Turkiye (Funded)

Are you a young leader interested in journalism, digital media, and community engagement? Do you want an immersive experience in Turkiye? Here is an exciting opportunity. Applications are invited for the ICYF International Training Camp 2026, an intensive training camp organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum and co-organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkiye. The camp is designed for young leaders with an interest in journalism, storytelling, research, and community engagement. The training camp will take place in Antalya, Turkiye, in October 2026.

A total of 200 trainees will participate in this camp: 100 men and 100 women. The selected participants will receive comprehensive support, including accommodation, food, health insurance, local transfers, and other support, while international travel costs can be reimbursed up to $250. No application fee is required. The application deadline is August 30th, 2026.

About ICYF International Training Camp 2026

The training camp is designed for young leaders from OIC member states or from Muslim communities in non-OIC countries who are interested in media, research, and community engagement. The objective of the program is to equip young leaders with skills in journalism, digital media, and storytelling while teaching them about ethical media practices.

Who can Apply?

  • You must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible.
  • Be a national of an OIC Member State or belong to a Muslim community in a non-OIC country.
  • Applicants aged 18-25 years old at the time of application.
  • Have good English language skills.
  • Demonstrate interest in media, research, and storytelling.
  • Have not previously participated in the media camp.

The training camp focuses on practical skills in: Journalism, Digital media, Storytelling, Responsible media practices, Research, Addressing global issues through media, and Community engagement
