- Be enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Be enrolled in a master’s degree or higher degree
- Be a recent university graduate beginning an internship within one year of graduation
- Academic background in international relations, development studies, economics, or relevant disciplines
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional training program where an internship is part of the program
- Be fluent in English or French
