ADB Young Professional Program (YPP) 2026 in Philippines

Yet again, we are here with another exciting young professional program offered by another international organization that you should also consider. You heard it right! The applications are open to apply for the ADB Young Professional Program (YPP) for the session 2026. Asian Development Bank, through its official portal, has recently announced applications for its “ADB YPP 2026” flagship early-career recruitment program, exclusively designed for motivated young professionals seeking career opportunities in international development.

The ADB bank is seeking applications from applicants belonging to ADB member countries holding a minimum master’s degree or higher in finance, business administration, Economics, Law, environment, or other relevant areas with at least 3 years of professional work experience in fields related to Asian Development Bank operations. The selected applicants under the YPP program will serve in ADB operations or support departments on a fixed-term 3-year contract, where they will gain experience and valuable insights into ADB’s operations. The ADB YPP position is based at the Asian Development Bank headquarters located in Manila, Philippines.

The selected professionals will be assigned a position level (IS 1) and will report directly to the designated director or technical staff. The position is open for both external and internal applicants. Eligiblity Criteria

Applicants fulfilling the following criteria are invited to submit their applications for the Asian Development Bank Young Professional Program:

  • ADB is inviting applications from applicants from ADB member countries
  • Candidates holding a minimum master’s degree or higher in the fields of Economics, finance, business administration, public policy, or related areas from recognized institutes are invited to submit their applications.
  • Applicants possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional work experience in the fields of climate change, development, economics, finance, public health, transport, urban planning, water operations, and natural resources
  • Applicants with international experience in areas relevant to ADB’s operations would be preferred
  • Candidates must not exceed 32 years of age at the time of application
  • Proficiency in English, both Written & Verbal

YPP Roles 

  • YPs will assist in the development of ADB’s strategy and policy
  • Provide support to others in research & Analysis
  • Contribute to ADB’s activities, such as knowledge sharing and advocacy
  • Participate in ADB’s development, grants, and TA projects
