To all the young aspiring leaders out there, do you want to have an immersive experience in South Korea with all your finances covered? Well, then wait no more as applications for one of the most anticipated “AFYN Korea Winter Culture Camp 2026″ are now open. AFYN, through its official portal and social media platforms, has recently announced the cultural camp scheduled to take place in Seoul, one of the most vibrant and lively cities of South Korea, from February 1-6, 2026.

For those who are not aware of this camp, let us give you a brief intro. It’s a fully funded short-term immersive cultural camp in South Korea hosted by ASEAN Youth Friendship Network, which offers young intellectuals from all around the world an opportunity to immerse themselves in rich Korean Culture and experience the wonders of South Korea. The AYFN Winter camp is inviting applications from all nationalities, irrespective of any academic background or profession. Preference will be given to the applicants who are involved in social and youth activities and demonstrate leadership potential.
The objective of the culture camp is to foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding between South Korea and participating countries by immersing participants in Korean traditions and daily life. AFYN offers 2 special scholarship categories for participating in the program: 1) Gold, 2) Silver. Each category has its own benefits that we will explain later in this post. Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants fulfilling the following criteria set by the AFYN Academy are invited to submit their applications:
- The culture camp is open to all nationalities
- Young intellectuals aged 17-40 years are invited to apply
- Have an interest in exploring Korean culture
- Applicants must be able to communicate in the English language
- Able to attend camp in person in South Korea during the scheduled dates
- You love to travel and interact with people from other cultures.
- Physically or mentally fit to participate in the program
Preference
Preference is given to the young leaders with leadership potential involved in social and youth activities
- You demonstrate leadership skills.
- You are involved in social and youth engagement activities.
- Able to communicate in English

Scholarship Types
AYFN is offering two tiers of scholarship awards for participation. Each tier has its own benefits. read below
Tier 1: Gold
- 100% Programme Fee Waiver
- Travel grant coverage up to USD 750$
Tier 2: Silver
- 100% Program Fee waiver
- Travel Grant coverage up to USD 250$
Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship covers:
- Accommodation for the duration of the camp
- Meals that include (Breakfast & Lunch)
- Participation in Cultural and educational activities
- Sightseeing tours
- E-Certificates issued by the host organization
- Local transportation costs
- In the county, coordination costs
The coverage does not include
- Visa processing fees
- Additional air travel expenditures
- Participants’ personal expenditures, such as internet, laundry, extra meals, and travel insurance
