A flagship initiative of the Aalto University Otaniemi Campus aims to invite talented students from around the world to experience cutting-edge research under the mentorship of renowned faculty members at Aalto University.
It’s a 3-month fully funded summer research program scheduled to take place in Aalto University, Finland, from June to August 2026. The programme is calling for applications from excellent international students currently pursuing their Undergraduate and graduate degree programs from recognized institutes. The AScI summer research program offers research projects in a wide range of areas, including science, engineering, business, arts, architecture, and more. Students from diverse academic backgrounds can apply.
There are no country restrictions; applicants holding a nationality of any country can apply. The best thing about the program is that there is no IELTS requirement, removing the major barrier for the students. This is the year the institute will select 50 students under this programme. Eligiblity Criteria:
Aalto University is calling applications from individuals meeting the following criteria:
- The Aalto summer program is open to all nationalities
- Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Must be pursuing their degree programs in recognized institutes
- Bachelor’s students must have completed one year of their program
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Demonstrate a strong research interest
- Must commit to full-time in-person participation during program dates
