Fellowship Coverage
- Monthly wages, including basic pay and bonus, will be JPY 197,000.
- There will be a deduction of government taxes, pension costs, and insurance premiums.
- Class fees in Japanese will be subtracted.
- The financial coverage also includes lodging and utilities.
- There will be a separate room decorated in a Western or Japanese style.
- Included are utility bills for things like Wi-Fi and electricity.
- While it is the fellows’ responsibility to provide their own food, Pasona Corporation can provide meals at a discount.
Eligibility Criteria:
- In one of our Fellowship’s core areas, the candidate must have two to three years of experience. The participant should be natural in fast-paced, startup environments and be prepared to advance their career.
- The ideal age to apply is between the ages of 24 and 30. Although each applicant is evaluated on their own merits, when applying, those with substantial ties to their families or marriages should disclose them to the Secretariat.
- In order to obtain a working visa, you must legally possess a bachelor’s degree or higher, demonstrating your dedication to lifelong study and development.
- For language proficiency, the applicants must speak English well (TOEIC 800 or above), and it would be really beneficial if they also speak Japanese (JLPT N1–N3).

Application Process
- All participants must apply for the Japan Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship 2024 through an online process.
- Students can access the official application portal and submit their application for the AYF fellowship program.
- Make sure you match the prerequisites and eligibility criteria for the Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship before submitting an application.
- Make sure you properly complete the application. After registering, send Awaji Island a project idea within two weeks.
- Candidates will be interviewed on a rolling basis in June and July.
