To all the scholarship seekers seeking for the Fully funded Masters & PhD scholarships abroad here is news for you! Applications are finally open for the CAS-ANSO Scholarship 2025. The scholarship previously known as the ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents was initially launched in the year 2019 to attract global talent from all around the world. ANSO also known as the Alliance of National and International Science Organization for the Belt & Road Regions is a non-profit organization that was established in 2018 to improve global capacity in the area of science and technology.
A total of 500 scholarships are awarded each year (200 Masters & 300 PhD) to international students to pursue their postgraduate degree program at the University of Science & Technology China and the University of Chinese Academic of Sciences and Institutes of Chinese Academic of Sciences across China. The scholarships are available in a wide range of academic fields and majors, the scholarship covers all the costs including Tuition Waiver, Monthly Stipend, Health insurance, and much more which we will later discuss in the “Scholarship Coverage” part. Who Sponsors the ANSO Scholarship?
- CAS one of the founding members of ANSO is the main sponsor of the CAS-ANSO scholarship.
Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship coverage for Masters and PhD programs are:
- Full Tuition Waiver
- Stipend
- PhD: Monthly Stipend of 6000 – 7000 CNY/Month
- Masters: Monthly stipend for 3,000/month up to 36 months
- Application Fee Waiver
- Air Travel Tickets
- Visa, Residence permit Allowance
- Health Insurance for the duration of degree program
Note: Scholarship awardee who are already in China are not eligible for the travel subsidy.
Eligiblity Criteria:
- The scholarship is open to all nationals except (Chinese Citizens).
- Be proficient in either English or Chinese language
- Age Criteria for Masters: Born after 1st January 1995
- Age Criteria for PhD: Born after 1st January 1990
- Must meet the admission criteria for the UCAS/USTC
- International students already pursuing master’s or PhD in China are not eligible.
Important: Applicants are advised not to apply for both institutes simultaneously otherwise your application will be disqualified.
