About the QUEST Programme

CERN Quest is an early-career program of the European Organization for Nuclear Research designed for early-career professionals holding a master’s or phd degree with relevant work experience in their desired field. Quest offers project-based positions across a wide range of engineering and technical areas. The programme offers a unique opportunity to experienced graduates from CERN member countries to work on real-time advanced projects, in a world-class research environment under the supervision of international experts.

Eligiblity Criteria:

Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to submit their applications:

  • Applicants from CERN or Associate member states are invited to apply
  • Holding a master’s degree with 2-6 years of professional experience
  • Recent graduates of a PhD program
  • The degree must be in a relevant field
  • Previously did not participate in CERN programs
  • Proficiency in English and knowledge of the French language is an asset
