Program Overview
During the 8-13 weeks summer student program, the participants will work on advanced technical projects with one of the experimental or engineering teams other than that you will also have an opportunity to attend a series of lectures on a wide range of topics prepared by renowned scientists and experts. The program also includes visits to CERN facilities as well as participation in workshops and discussion sessions.
Eligiblity Criteria
- The CERN Summer Student program is open to all nationals
- Students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in the areas of Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or mathematics and have completed at least 6 semesters.
- Students expected to graduate during the summer of 2025 (As of May) can still apply.
- Have not participated previously in the CERN summer Students program.
- Have not previously worked for CERN
- Have a good command of the English language
