About Commonwealth Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria for Master’s Program

- Have completed an undergraduate degree by September 2027
- Must be available to study in the UK in September/October 2027.
- Unable to support their studies in the UK without a scholarship

Eligiblity Criteria for PhD
- Be a citizen of an eligible Commonwealth country
- Be available to start studies in the UK in September 2027
- Hold a first degree at least at upper-second-class (2:1) level, or a lower-second-class degree plus a relevant postgraduate qualification, usually a Master’s.
- Not already be enrolled in a PhD program
- Provide a supporting statement from a proposed UK supervisor

How to Apply for the Commonwealth Scholarship 2027?
Applicants interested in the scholarship must submit their application through the CSC Central application system. However, applying to the CSC alone is not enough; you must also apply through an approved nominating agency, such as a national nominating agency or a selected NGO. The program does not accept direct applications.
