Dalarna University Scholarships
The institute is offering two types of scholarships for the new students who are commencing their studies at the institute in 2026 or later. These scholarships are exclusively designed for individuals who are genuinely interested in pursuing their master’s degree program from Dalarna University. Let’s discuss the scholarships in detail.
(1) Choose Dalarna First Scholarship (Worth 5000 SEK)
The scholarship is intended for students who select Dalarna University as their first choice on UniversityAdmissions.se. The scholarship offers comprehensive support offers a 5000 SEK reduction to your tuition fees. To be considered for the scholarship, you need to:
- Choose Darlana University’s Master’s degree program as your first choice
- Submit your scholarship application by February 15th or September 15th
- Admitted to any Master’s degree program at the institute
Applicants meeting the above criteria will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
(2) Academic Excellence Scholarship
The Academic Excellence scholarship is awarded based on students’ excellent academic records and achievements. The excellence scholarship offers two types of awards: (1) Semester Award, (2) Programme Distinction.
a. Semester Awards: Awarded to students for each semester if they meet the criteria
Criteria:
- Complete all 30 credit hours of their desired programme
- Achieve excellent academic results
- Maintain a good academic standing throughout the semester
- Report your result after the semester is completed
b. Programme Distinction
- The program distinction is awarded to the students who qualify for the semester award in all the semesters.
(3) Swedish Institute of Global Professional Scholarships
The (SISGP), also known as the Swedish Institute of Global Professional Scholarship, is awarded to excellent international students from 33 eligible countries to pursue a full-time master’s degree program. The scholarship is granted based on demonstrated leadership and work experience.
The scholarship offers a wide range of benefits which including a monthly stipend, travel allowance, tuition fees covered, and much more. Applicants interested in the scholarship need to apply directly via the Swedish Institute website to be considered for the scholarship.
