To all the Squid Game fans, we are here with an exciting competition, “Escape to Korea 2025,” that could be your free ticket to South Korea. Wondering why we have mentioned Squid Game? Well, it’s not just a competition, it’s a journey where you become a Squid Game Player in Korea. Korea Tourism Organization, in collaboration with Netflix’s Squid Game, is organizing this event. The event is open to foreign nationals from all around the world (except Korean citizens).
The 7 lucky winners will have an opportunity to spend 3 days in South Korea from October 15-17, 2025, with one day completely dedicated to the iconic Pink soldiers from Squid Game, and the remaining 2 days participants will explore Korea’s vibrant culture and rich history. The winners of the event will receive round-trip Airfare, Amazon gift cards worth $30, and a 3-day sightseeing tour. There is no application fee for participation or any documentation requirement; the participation is quite simple, which we will discuss in this post. How to Join?
To all the individuals who are interested in the “Escape to Korea 2025” competition, you need to follow the following steps to join.
- Step 1: Watch “Escape to Korea – Better Run” on the Imagine Your Korea YouTube channel
- Step 2: Leave a comment with your chosen player number, eg, (003-856), and mention a place where you would escape if you were a Squid Game player (mention a place which is not shown in the video)
- Step 3: Once done with the first 2 steps, now you need to fill out a Google form that is pinned in the comment section of the video.
