European Union EESC Traineeships 2026 in Belgium (PAID)

Today at Opportunities Radar, we are here with an exciting traineeship opportunity offered by one of the consultative bodies of the European Union that you should not miss out on. The applications are open to apply for the European Union EESC Traineeships 2026. A prestigious Traineeship program hosted by the EESC (European Economic & Social Committee) offers an incredible opportunity for university students and graduates to gain hands-on professional experience while working in one of the EESC’s business units, such as communication, legal, services, finance, HR, external relations, IT, and others.

The EESC offers two types of traineeships: (1) Long-term traineeships, a 5-month internship intended for university graduates, (2) Short-term internships, a 1-3 months internship intended for university students for whom a traineeship is compulsory for the completion of their studies. EECSC offers a traineeship twice a year. Currently, applications are open for the Spring 2026 session, which will take place between February and July 2026 at the Committee’s office in Brussels. The EESC traineeship offers a unique opportunity for trainees to learn about the EESC’s role and gain professional experience while working in an international, multicultural work environment under the mentorship of EESC experts.

The traineeship is highly competitive. Make sure your application is strong enough to stand out. Interested applicants need to submit their application via the official ECSC online portal – you can not apply directly to the business unit. Shortlisted applicants will be assigned to a business unit as per their profile. The application window is currently open for the spring session. Make sure to submit your online application by September 30th, 2025. No late applications will be entertained. Read more details about the traineeship below.
