To all the ambitious students, do you want to embark on a transformative journey to the forefront of scientific research with the leading summer research programmes in China? Applications are now open for the FuSEP Summer Research Programme for the 2026 academic year. The Future Scientific Exchange Programme (FuSEP) is a fully funded flagship initiative of the University of Science and Technology of China, offering an opportunity to outstanding and motivated students from around the world to experience cutting-edge scientific research at the University of Science & technology of China in Heifei.
The Research programme is designed for students currently pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate degree programmes in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or closely related fields at internationally recognized institutes. The duration of the research program is 5 weeks, commencing from June 22 to July 30, 2026. During your stay, you will gain hands-on research experience while conducting intensive research under the supervision of renowned scientists in world-class research facilities.
Beyond full-time research, students will also participate in fun lectures on various topics while immersing themselves in rich local Chinese culture activities. No application fee is required. All applications must be submitted by March 22nd, 2026. Read more details below.

- Students currently pursuing full-time bachelor’s and master’s degrees in relevant majors from recognized institutes
- Bachelor’s students must have completed two academic years
