Hello, Fellows, Cape Town is calling! We are here with an exciting summer school in South Africa that you should not miss. A prestigious summer school hosted by the “Global Health Bioethics Network” is inviting applications for the 14th edition of the GHBN Summer School 2025, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 15- 18 September 2025. The summer school is offered to early/mid-career level researchers in the field of health bioethics from lower or middle-income countries.
The program evolves around the new emerging themes in global health bioethics. An exciting program for international students and researchers to connect with like-minded individuals and experts in the fields from all around the world. The program offers comprehensive support, the coverage includes air travel costs, visa assistance, meals, with other perks and benefits.
A total of 50 delegates will be selected for the 14th edition of the summer school. The participants have to attend the program in Cape Town in person; there is no option for attending it remotely. There is no application fee requirement. Applicants interested in the summer school need to submit their application by April 25, 2025. Who can Apply?
Applicants fulfilling the following criteria are eligible for the GHBN Summer School:
- Applicants from low- and middle-income countries are invited to apply
- Inviting early/mid-level researchers in the fields of global health bioethics
- Available to attend the program in Cape Town in person during the Summer School dates
- Preference is given to applicants from countries that are not represented among GHBN partners

Applicants fulfilling the required criteria need to follow the following steps:

- A short letter from your current supervisor/Manager supporting your application
- An updated two-page CV
