To all emerging creatives seeking international programs to gain hands-on experience, Google has something exciting to offer. You heard right! Google has announced the call for applications for its flagship “Google Creative Fellowship 2026”, inviting emerging creative talent from around the world to apply and have a chance to work directly with Google’s in-house creative teams. The fellowship lasts for 6 months, from mid-June 2026 to mid-December 2026, in the United States. Selected fellows will be assigned to one of Google’s creative teams, gaining practical experience while working on real projects under expert guidance. This isn’t just a fellowship; it’s a paid contractor role in which fellows become employees of one of Google’s in-house teams.

The Google Creative Fellowship welcomes applications from emerging creatives with 0-5 years of experience and a strong interest in making things and storytelling. There are no country restrictions—candidates worldwide are invited to apply. Google Creative Teams

The fellows are placed in one of the following Google in-house Creative Teams:

  1. Brand Studio
  2. Creative Lab
  3. Google Cloud Brand & Creative
  4. YouTube Creative Studio

Eligiblity Criteria

  • Fellowship is open for all Nationals
  • An emerging creative with 0-5 years of experience
  • Applicants must have completed their degree at the time of the fellowship
  • Demonstrate a maker-first mindset
  • Have interest and skills in areas of filmmaking, writing, creative technology, and motion design
  • A strong portfolio to showcase your work ability
  • Have a valid US work authorization
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Must commit to full-time participation during the fellowship dates
