The Higher Education Authority, through its official portal, has announced a call for applications for its flagship GOI-IES scholarship and is inviting outstanding and talented students from non-EU/EEA member countries to apply.
GOI-IES is a prestigious scholarship program funded by the Government of Ireland in collaboration with the Irish Higher Education Institutes and managed by the Higher Education Authority, which offers an incredible opportunity to high-calibre students from non-EU/EEA countries to pursue Master’s, Diploma & PhD degree programs in one of the participating higher education institutions (Universities, Technoloigcal universities & Colleges) in Ireland. Each year, the programme awards a total of 60 scholarships for the duration of one year of a full-time study programme.
The scholarships are available in almost all academic disciplines, including common areas, such as Engineering, Science, Health Science, Business, Law, and Arts & Humanities. Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to submit applications:
- Applicants from Non-EU/EEA countries are eligible to apply
- Nationals of Belarus and Russia are not eligible
- Applicants must hold excellent academic achievements
- Applying for a full-time in-person master’s, diploma, or PhD program
