It’s time to pack your bags as South Korea is calling! GCF, through its official portal, has recently announced multiple internship positions for its headquarters located in Songdo, Incheon City, Republic of Korea, and is seeking applications from talented individuals passionate about climate change and sustainable development.
The internship is exclusively designed for students currenly enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program or who have recently graduated in relevant fields from accredited higher education institutions to apply and gain real-world work experience in their desired domains while working on high-impact projects under the supervision of GCF experts. The internships are available across a wide range of areas, including communications, IT, legal Affairs, sustainable finance, Data & research, and more. Eligibility Criteria
- GCF internships are open to all nationals
- Intended for the students currenly enrolled in Master’s and PhD degree programs or who have recently graduated from recognized institutions
- Belonging to an Academic background relevant to GCF work, such as science, climate policy, IT, economics, public policy, international relations, etc
- Excellent English communication skills
- Knowledge of any other United Nations official language would be an asset
- Holding excellent academic achievements
Ineligibility:
- Applicants who are not currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD degree
- Academic background not relevant to the fund’s focus work areas
- Not willing to work on-site
- Immediate family members of GCF staff are not eligible to apply
