Applications are open to apply for the HEC Undergraduate Scholarships for Balochistan and FATA for the academic year 2025-26. Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, through its official portal, has recently made a scholarship announcement and is calling applications from talented and highly motivated students of FATA and Balochistan. HEC is granting this scholarship under the project “Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for the Students of Balochistan and FATA (Phase-II)”, Batch-IV, which offers an opportunity to the outstanding students of Balochistan and FATA to pursue their undergraduate studies in HEC-recognized public/private sector universities of Pakistan in all disciplines.
The objective of the HEC scholarship program is to support excellent students of Balochistan and FATA by providing them with access to higher education and paying their tuition fees and living expenses so they can focus on their studies without worrying about finances. The scholarships are awarded on merit and quota-based; the applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic achievements and Aptitude test score, which is conducted by HEC. Eligiblity Criteria
Students fulfilling the following criteria are invited to apply for the HEC Undergraduate scholarship:
- Applicants holding a domicile of FATA & Balochistan are invited to apply
- Applicants must not be older than 22 years of Age
- Have completed 12 years of education (FA/FSc/ICS/DAE/ICOM) equivalent with at least 60% marks
- Have not secured any other HEC/Government scholarship
- Students awaiting results are not eligible to apply
Important
- Scholarships awarded on merit/district quota
- Scholarship awards are based on their academic record & Aptitude score
- Applicants must secure at least 50% in the aptitude test
- Students already enrolled in the degree program will not be considered for the reserved seat; however, they will be considered for a scholarship if on merit
