Hitachi is once again back with its 18th edition of the Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative 2026, scheduled to take place in Cebu, one of the dynamic cities of the Philippines, from May 24-29, 2026. A fully funded leadership program organized by Hitachi is calling for applications from Asia’s brightest students. The programme serves as a unique platform where outstanding leaders from 8 Asian countries will gather to exchange ideas and engage in a powerful conversation with government officials, academia, business leaders, and beyond. Students who are currently pursuing their undergraduate degree program, regardless of their academic background, are invited to apply.
This year, the leaders’ initiative revolves around an exciting theme, “FLOW AS ONE: What’s next for a sustainable future?” that focuses on building innovative solutions for the region’s most pressing challenges. The programme will select up to 4 delegates per country. A total of 32 brightest students from 8 countries will be selected under this programme. The duration of the Young Leaders Initiative is 6 days. The selected participants will experience interactive workshops, expert-led forums, and cultural events, followed by immersive site visits.
