Eligibility Criteria
- The Humboldt research fellowship is open to all nationals except German nationals.
- For Postdoctoral Researchers: candidates must have completed their doctoral degree within the last 4 years
- For Experienced Researchers: candidates must have completed their doctoral degree within the last 12 years
- The fellowship is awarded on a merit basis; applicants with excellent academic achievements and international publication records are encouraged to apply
- Must find and secure a German host
- Profiency in the English language
- Knowledge of Germany language would be an assett

How to Apply?
The application process is online; submission of a hard form of application will not be entertained. To apply, you need to secure a German host and find a researcher at a German institute who is willing to mentor you. Once you have secured a German host, you need to complete the online application via Humbodlt Foundation application portal. Complete the application and submit.
