Summer Student Program 2026 at HZDR
The summer student program is offered annually between July and September to international university students currently pursuing their education in the fields related to the natural sciences, technology, or related areas. It provides an opportunity for students to join their research groups and participate in their activities.
You will work on the project under the supervision of the researcher, who will support you throughout the project. Moreover, you will also attend lectures and have lab tours to explore various branches of the research center.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the summer program.
- The program is open to all nationals
- University students pursuing their degrees in natural sciences, life sciences, technology, medicine, and related fields.
- No prior work experience required
- German students can also participate in this summer program
- Have a proven track record of academic performance
- Have proficiency in the English language
- PhD students are not eligible to apply
- Provide proof of university enrollment
