Economists:
Interns, under the guidance of the IMF experts, will conduct economic research and further analyze the topics determined by the fund. The intern work will culminate in a research paper that will be published internally
Who can Apply?
Applicants meeting the following criteria can apply for the Economist position:
- Students completing their PhD degree program within one or two years
- Pursuing their degree programme in Macroecnomics or other related fields
- Must be a student status for the duration of the internship
- Age requirement: below 32 years of age at the commencement of the internship
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

IMF Internship – Legal Department
Applicants selected under this programme will be working on real-time projects in the IMF legal department under the supervision of a senior member of the department. The interns will be assigned to work on the projects that will be determined at a later time, closer to the start of the internship.
