Unlock your leadership potential in Korea! The application window for one of Korea’s largest International Youth forums is now open. Applications are open for the International Forum We Youth (IFWY) 2025. A fully funded Youth forum in South Korea, co-organized by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) and Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). Inviting applications from young intellectuals aged 18-35 years from all around the world, having an interest or experience in peacebuilding, climate action, or innovation, to apply.
The objective of the forum is to empower young leaders by providing a dynamic platform where they can connect, directly engage with policymakers, and create innovative solutions for the most pressing global challenges. The forum revolves around an immersive theme, “Our Sustainable Future Peace and Cooperation,” that focuses on how peace and cooperation are essential in solving the biggest challenges like climate change, conflict, and injustice. The final conference is scheduled to take place in Seoul, South Korea, in October 2025, where approximately 175 participants will join.
The forum offers comprehensive support for the participants, covering all the costs related to the program. No Application fee is associated with the program. Applicants who are interested in this forum need to submit their applications by 16th June 2025. No late application will be entertained. Read more details about the program below.

How to Apply?
Applicants who are interested in the forum need to follow the following steps to complete their application:
Step 1: Prepare your Application materials
Self-Introduction:
Applicants need to submit a brief written or audio introduction (Max 500 words or 1 minute) that focuses on:
- Who are you?
- What’s your background?
- Why do you want to take part in IFWY?
3-Minute Policy Message:
- Applicants need to share their thoughts on key issues they care about, such as climate, equality, justice, and peace, either by recording a 3-minute video and uploading it on YouTube, Vimeo, or any other supporting platform, and share the link or by submitting a message of (max 1,500 words).
Step 2: Complete the Application form
- Applicants need to fill out an online application form, which consists of personal information, regional affiliation, and a response to the questions.
Step 3: Submission & Sharing
- After the successful submission of the application, you receive a confirmation email. Your videos and policy message will be shared online for the voting; you can share them as much as you can.
