IPCC Scholarship Programme 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland (8th edition)

Geneva is calling! Applications are open to apply for the 8th Round of the IPCC Scholarship Programme for session 2025. IPCC also known as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has recently made a scholarship announcement for international students from developing countries currently pursuing PhD degrees and have completed at least one year of the degree, or Doctoral students conducting post-doctoral research.

Students with research proposal on climate change and other topics focussing on Living soils, viticulture, agroforestry, water management, biodiversity, regenerative technology, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, and the terrestrial carbon cycle are encouraged to apply.

In the 7th edition of the IPCC scholarship program, a total of twenty-four students from developing countries were awarded the scholarship, since 2011 the program has supported 116 students. The scholarship provides comprehensive support of 15,000 Euros/year for up to two years. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change comes under the United Nations and is responsible for assessing the science related to climate change.   • International students from Developing countries
  • Priority is given to the students from least developing countries and Small island developing countries studying outside their country.
