The Islamic Development Bank has recently made the scholarship announcement for the academic session 2025-26. The scholarships are offered to the outstanding students to pursue Undergraduate, Graduate & PhD degree programs in the participating IsDB institutes. The scholarships are fully funded by the Islamic Development Bank and are offered to applicants belonging to the IsDB member countries and Muslim communities residing in non-member states. The scholarship supports Accommodation, Air Travel Tickets, Monthly Stipend, Medical coverage, and much more.
The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the deserving students from the IsDB member countries and to empower students by supporting their education in various fields of study. IsDB Merit scholarship program is offered to the outstanding students beloning from IsDB member countries to pursue advance studies in PhD and Post doctoral research in fields of applied sciences, technology at renowned high tech universities and institutes around the world.
Eligiblity Criteria:
- Age requirement max 35 years for PhD and 40 years for the post doctoral research
- Have Msc or Phd degree program in the field of science and technology
- Have excellent academic record
- Have research experience of atleast 2 years for PhD
- Have research expereince of atleast 5 years for Post doctoral
- Record of publications and research in the desired area

IsDB Master of Science Scholarship (M.Sc)
The Islamic Development Bank Master of Science scholarships are offfered to the students belonging from the IsDB least developed member countries to pursue Masters degree programs in the various scientific and technological fields that will contribute towards the development of IsDB member countries.
Eligiblity Criteria
- Applicants beloning from 20 least developed member countries
- Age must not exceed 30 years at closing of application
- Applicants holding bachelors degree in science and technology fields
- Must be nominated by the research institutes of their home countries
- Possesses above average grade
- Secured provisional or full admission in the instiutes listed under MSc

Scholarships for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries
The Islamic Development Bank SPMC scholarships are awarded to the brilliant deserving students to undetake undergraduate and first degree studies in the fields of medicine, engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, computer science, fishery, forestry, nursing, nutrition study, veterinary science and other related fields at state of art recognized government institutes.
Eligiblity Criteria:
- Students who are in need of the financial assitance to support their education
- Must not exceed 24 years of age
- Completed secondary education (12 years of education) with excellent grades
- Physically and medically fit
- Secured admission in one of the discipline covered under the scholarship
- Applicant must not be residing in a country other than his/her home country

The Islamic Development Bank LDMCs scholarship is for the students beloning from the least developed IsDB member countries to support bachelors and technical diplomas in the areas of agriculute, Engineering, medicine and related fields.
Eligiblity Criteria
- Students in needs of financial assitance to support their degree
- Max age requirement 24 years of age
- Have completed secondary education with good grades
- Secured admission in one of the prior eligible degree program
- Committed to return to home country after completion of degree program
