Turkiye is hosting the 8th Annual Istanbul Youth Summit (IYS) 2025, and you are more than welcome to attend! The event will take place on February 17, 2025, and will last for approximately 4 days in Istanbul, Turkey. This event provides an excellent chance to initiate your upcoming year. The event promises to be both entertaining and enriching, with industry experts and leaders engaging with young people and offering practical learning opportunities on innovation, skill development, leadership, and other topics.
The summit is organized by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) foundation, which aims to empower young leaders from around the world. It is a UN-certified event. A collective effort of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and other UN agencies.
The summit is open to applicants from all countries, aged between 15 and 40 years, representing all academic backgrounds. It offers a variety of benefits, such as program fees, flights, visas, and accommodation; opportunities to interact with young leaders; an internationally recognized certificate on implementation; a gala dinner; project mentoring; and a cultural night.
The Istanbul Youth Summit provides both fully funded and self-funded opportunities. If not selected for the full funding, delegates can participate through a self-funded scheme. - Applicants must have a clean criminal record and must not be affiliated with any extremist organization.

Step 1: Registration Process:

Step 2: Complete an Application:

Step 3: How can one become a fully funded delegate at the Istanbul You Summit 2025?
Complete the following to be fully funded delegates at the Istanbul Youth Summit 2025:
- Submission period: August 10th, 2024 – September 30th, 2024.
- Write an essay of a maximum of 250 words on any one of the topics from the 5 SDGs.
- Make sure to structure the essay in compliance with the guidelines provided below:
- Correctly cite and reference in case the answer is related to any data.
- The length of references should not be more than 100 words.
- Clearly state your opinions and demonstrate your grasp of the subject.
- Develop an argument supported by analysis and critical evaluation in a body of arguments and counter-arguments.
