METI Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is offering a fully funded full-time internship in Japan for foreign talent in the field of AI, TECH, and Information Technology or related fields.
The internships are exclusively designed for students and graduates to gain professional work experience in the fields related to Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. The internship placement will be made in various companies headquartered in Japan, the host companies will be assigned through matching by the administrative office. Each company will recruit 1-5 interns, the duration of the internship is 1.5 months, which is scheduled from October 31 – December 15, 2025. Who can Apply?

- Applicants holding citizenship of countries listed on the OECD/DAC list are eligible
