KAIST Advanced Institute for Sciences X (KAI-X) has announced the internship position through its official portal. A fully funded internship in South Korea offered to international students currently pursuing Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs in the fields related to natural sciences including medical sciences, biology, mathematics, physics, and other related fields. The duration of the KAI-X research internship is 7 weeks and will commence from July 1st to August 16th, 2024 at Research Labs at the KAIST campus of Daejeon, Korea. This is an amazing opportunity for international students to gain research experience in the KAIST laboratory, in South Korea.

Internship Coverage:
The interns will be provided with the following support for the duration of the internship:
- Round-trip up to 1 million KRW (750 USD) for airfare.
- The dorm room costs no more than 500,000 KRW (375 USD).
This will help the interns fully involve themselves in research and invention without the stress of financial constraints.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the KAIST KAI -X Internship in South Korea you must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Status: International Students enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of bachelor’s program and master’s degree students are eligible to apply.
- Area of Study: Students pursuing their education in the field of natural sciences including chemistry, mathematics, biology, medical science, physics, and brain & cognitive science are eligible to apply.
- Ineligibility: Students currently pursuing PhD degree programs are not eligible to apply.
