The KAI-X internship is calling applications from overseas undergraudate and graduate students pursuing their degrees in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Medical Sciences, or related fields to experience hands-on research while working on cutting-edge research under the supervision of renowned KAIST Faculty. Internship Coverage
The institute offers the following financial support to interns:

Eligibility Criteria
Individuals fulfilling the following criteria are invited to apply:
- KAI-X Summer internship is open for all Non-Korean Nationals
- Students enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate degree
- Students enrolled in the Master’s degree program
- Pursuing their degrees in Natural sciences or related fields, including physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, medical science, Brain & Congitive Science
- PhD students are not eligible to apply
- Excellent command in English language

How to Apply?
Applicants interested in the KAIST KAI-X Research internship need to complete the application via Google Form; the application must be completed in English. Students can select one major and choose upto two research fields. The result announcement will be made in mid-April 2026.
