One of the most awaited internships in South Korea is back! This is your chance to gain hands-on research experience at one of the leading higher education of South Korea. Applications are invited to apply for the KAIST Visual AI Winter Internship for the 2025-26 session. The Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology, through its official portal, has made a “Call for Winter AI Internship” and is seeking applications from dynamic, passionate candidates from around the world.
The internship is exclusively designed for students currenly pursuing their undergraduate degree program in Korea or outside Korea, with an interest in building cutting-edge machine learning technologies for visual data. The program offers a cutting-edge research experience through a small-scale project under the mentorship of experts in their fields. Moreover, the interns will also engage in tutorials, projects, weekly meetings, and paper digest meetings.
The duration of the internship program is 4 months, which will take place at Djaengo, South Korea, from December 22, 2025, to February 27, 2026. Students holding excellent academic achievements are highly encouraged to apply for the KAIST Visual AI Winter internship. No application fee is required at any step of the application. Internship Period & Location
- The internship will be held at KAIST, N1 Bldg, Rm 622, 291 Daehak-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, Korea 34141 from December 22, 2025, to February 27, 2025.

Eligiblity Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for the KAIST Visual AI Group Winter internship 2025:
- Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
- Open for both Korean & International students
- Must have an interest in developing deep learning techniques
- Commit to attending a full-time internship for the duration of the program
- Preference is given to students who have taken the courses of Machine learning for data visualization and Diffusion & Flow models
