The duration of the master’s degree program is 2 years and the study period will commence on (November 2024 – March 2026). Eligiblity Criteria
To be eligible for the Faculty of Forestry Kasetsart University scholarship you must fulfill the following required criteria:
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Forestry or related fields
- Have secured bachelors with a minimum CGPA of 2.5
- Applicants from countries where RMFN Asia members are present will be preferred
- Commit to working closely with the RMFN-Asia member for at least one year
- Proficiency in English Language
Have to research one of the following topics that would be conducted for the Ngao model forest:
- Sustainable livelihoods and non-timber forest
- Assessing carbon sequestration potential and REDD+ implementation
- Biodiversity conversion and Ecosystem services in managed forest landscape
- Community-based forest fire management
- Forest landscape restoration for climate
- Evaluating payment for ecosystem services
- Exploring sustainable livelihoods through eco-tourism
- Participatory land use planning for sustainable forest conversion
Scholarship Coverage:
- The institute offers a fully funded scholarship that covers a Full tuition fee waiver, Round-trip air travel ticket, Food and accommodation, and Research Grants.
