Selection procedure:
- The International Services desk at UM forwards the applications to each UM faculty
- Each faculty selects and ranks their top 5% of scholarship applicants, and online interview invites are sent to each selected candidate after a final check in March 2025.
- The university shall issue the list of shortlisted and waitlisted candidates in April 2025.
- You are required to sign and return the award letter to UM.
- You are good to go with your studies in August 2025.
Who can Apply?
To apply for Maastricht University NL-High Potential Scholarship 2025 in the Netherlands you need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Nationality: You are the nationality holder of a country outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Surinam.
- Academic: Your bachelor’s or equivalent official transcript shows an exceptional educational background, with a GPA of 7.5 out of 10 or higher (it can be 75% out of 100% or 3 out of 4 depending on your grade system).
- Unconditional Offer Letter: To be eligible for an NL-High Potential scholarship, you must have applied to one or more of the participating Master’s programs at Maastricht University for the 2025–2026 academic year.
- Age: you must be up to the age of 35 years when applying for a scholarship
