Applications are open for the MBZUAI Summer Internship Programme 2026. A fully funded internship programme for both international and domestic students hosted at MBZUAI University, Abu Dhabi, is seeking applications from outstanding students in STEM fields to carry out cutting-edge AI research projects under the supervision of MBZUAI’s renowned faculty in world-class research facilities. Beyond research, the programme also offers students an opportunity to explore the institute’s graduate school and interact with the graduate students and professors.

The Undergraduate Research Internship Program (UGRIP) is a flagship experimental AI research internship designed for outstanding students enrolled in the Undergraudate degree program and pursuing their degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related fields in an internationally recognized institute. The internship is highly competitive students with excellent academic standings are invited to submit their applications. It’s a 4-week internship program that will take place at MBUZAI University, Abu Dhabi campuses, from May 31 to June 26, 2026. Eligiblity Criteria

• The MBUZAI internship is open for both domestic & international students
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
• Students must be in their penultimate year (3rd or 4th) of their degree
• Pursuing their degree program in STEM-related fields such as Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, etc.
• Must have excellent academic achievements
• Proof of English profiency through IELTS 6.5 | TOEFL 90 | PTE 60 | Duolingo 120
• Language profiency exemption for those who submit a formal letter issued by the institute confirming that English is the primary medium of instruction for their degree program.
