About MOGPA 2027
MOGPA, also known as Make out Planet Great again, is a fully funded research program that promotes research collaboration to address pressing climate and environmental challenges. The fellowship offers early-career researchers an excellent opportunity to carry out research projects in laboratories and institutions in France in areas aligned with the program’s scientific priorities.
For the 2027 cohort, the program will select 60 researchers from around the world.
Research Areas
The fellowship offers research projects in the following five areas:
- Sustainability Science & Climate Change
- Energy Transition
- Earth System Sciences
- Societal challenges related to environmental issues
- Public, Animal, and Environmental Health under one health approach

Who can Apply?
To be eligible for the MOGPA fellowship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Fellowship welcomes applications from all foreign nationals
- French nationals are not eligible to apply
- Completed a doctoral degree within the past five years
- Have defended a PhD thesis between December 2021 and December 2026
- Interested in undertaking research in France
- Applicants must not be residing in France at the time of application
- Have not previously received the fellowship
Fellowship Coverage
Fellows will receive the following support for 12 months:
- A monthly allowance of €2,500
- A settling-in allowance of €500
- Comprehensive health coverage
- Liability insurance
