Migration Policy Institute Europe offers internships 6 months internships for students and graduates. MPI is a nonprofit research institute that provides a better understanding of migration in Europe.
The internship is offered twice a year one in the fall session and the other in the spring session. The organization offers Research Internships and Finance & Administration internships the application deadline for the Finance and Administration is now over but you can still apply for the research internship. In this post, we will only focus on the research internships.
The internship will be held in Brussels at the start of septemebr 2024. During the program, you will be working on a wide range of policy areas under the supervision of the experts. Applicants who are work-authorized in Belgium are invited to submit the application for the internship. The application process is online and is due by July 1, 2024. Internship Location & Duration
The MPI Research internship duration is 6 months and will be held in Brussels. This is an in-person internship all selected interests are required to travel to Belgium to attend the program.
Internship Openings
As we have mentioned earlier in the post the internships are offered two times a year in Fall & Spring check out the internship cycle below:

Internship Coverage
- All the interns are offered a monthly stipend of 1310 Euros/Month
- A lunch voucher for the duration of the program
- Note: The internship does not bear relocation, visa application, or work permit expenses.

- Applicants who are eligible to work in Belgium
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Students enrolled in Masters & PhD degrees
- Applicants having an interest in the field of Asylum, Migration & Integration
- Excellent English Communication Skills
